Condo Towers

Office Project, 2015-2016
Pei Cobb Freed & Partners Architects LLP - New York, NY USA
Site: Century City, Los Angeles, CA USA

As part of a redevelopment of the Century Plaza Hotel, twin 46-story condo towers as well as a retail plaza will be constructed behind the existing hotel. Relating to Minoru Yamasaki's twin triangular towers across the street the condo towers are designed in the form of adapted reuleaux triangles.

Structural bays house window walls that lead to generous-sized balconies framed in curved glass balustrades, giving the building an iridescent, undulating quality.

I worked on the project during Design Development as well as coordination with the Architect of Record during Construction Administration. My role was in the design and development of canopies, tower storefronts, as well as the architectural design of interior spaces. My work involved coordination with the architect of record in Los Angeles as well as MEP, Structural, and Interior Design consultants.
